Description
I made porcelain jewelry back in the eighty's. One day I poured blue and
white porcelain, each color from a separate bottle into a three corner
shape containment mold I had made to make a pendant. While the
porcelain was wet I used a toothpick to mix it just a little. I did not try to
make any design in it. I put it on a shelf to dry and forgot about it for over
six months.
When I picked it up to put it in the kiln it was a grey piece of porcelain, no
pattern was visible. When I took it out of the kiln, I could not believe what
I was looking at. On the bed of royal blue was a dainty dragon in royal blue
against a white cloud that formed a somewhat looking large white bird and
cloudy cross, I didn't see the bird until a friend mentioned it.. I assure you
it was not planed in any way. It was a little large for a pendant, being new
to porcelain I didn't plan for the right measurement for shrinkage, over all
size is about three and a half inches by five and half.
